1906 - Wilford Heusser begins manufacturing scales in Salt Lake City, Utah. 1916 - Werner Ruefenacht began working for Heusser. 1953 - Werner Ruefenacht becomes owner of “Heusser Instrument Company. 1950's - Russell and Leslie Ruefenacht began working with their father. 1966 - Leslie Ruefenacht opened the West Coast operations in California. 1990 - Now “Heusser Neweigh,” builds its National Laboratory in California. 2006 - Heusser Neweigh reaches the milestone of 100 years in operation.
